Many people starting an exercise routine tend to overwhelm themselves at the gym, join advanced group exercise classes prematurely, or spend significant money on programs not tailored to their unique needs. This often leads to muscle strains, injuries, feelings of shame and doubt, and a lack of motivation to continue.

Founded by personal trainer Jordan Hartney, Mindful Methods emphasizes the importance of mindfulness in beginning a fitness journey.
We'll start with an assessment session to establish a baseline of muscle engagement and your mind-body connection. Based on your assessment, we'll collaborate to create a personalized fitness plan tailored to your specific goals, fitness level, and physical limitations.
Through 1:1 personal training, you'll stay accountable and motivated while we better your technique and form along the way!

What can I expect from an assessment session?
An assessment session typically takes minutes, and in that time we'll assess your ability to engage specific muscles when prompted, asses your body alignment and body posture, and identify any imbalances you have. We'll create a personalized fitness plan and set personalized milestones based on your goals, whether it's increasing strength, improving posture, or achieving specific fitness targets. Every 3 months we'll assess your progress and adjust the plan as needed.

What does a typical 1:1 training session look like?
Typical 1:1 sessions will begin with a 5-10 min warm up, followed by 40-50 min training, and end with a 5-10 min cooldown. We'll focus on proper form, progressively increasing weights, and a variety of exercises to target all major muscle groups.​​

What's the cost for 1:1 personal training sessions?
For 1:1 personal training sessions 1x/week it's $125, 2x/week is $240, and 3x/week is $340. Typically, I recommend 2 sessions/week to see consistent progress and allow for adequate recovery.
